Compuserve
The
following information details where to find your personal data (address book,
calendar information, favorites, stored emails etc.) after you have used
TrueSwitch to switch to Compuserve. Please note that
it can take upto 24 hours before all the personal
data from your old account is copied to your new Compuserve
account.
Please
also note that the following information assumes that you have Compuserve software installed on your PC that you are using
to access your Compuserve account, and you must have
logged into your new Compuserve account.
Emails From TrueSwitch
Any emails sent to you from TrueSwitch confirming your TrueSwitch internet account switching request and status updates will be in your “New Mail” folder in Compuserve which can be accessed by clicking on “Read Mail”. This will appear in yellow and say “You Have Mail” when you receive a new mail.

If you selected “Copy Stored Emails”
(which is enabled by default in the “Express Switching” option), all your saved
mails (with all your sub-folders) from your old account to your new Compuserve account will be in the “Filing Cabinet” which
can be accessed by clicking on “Mail Center” and then “Filing Cabinet”.



If you
selected “Email Forwarding” (which is enabled by default in the “Express
Switching” option), then any emails which were sent to your old Internet email
address will be forwarded by TrueSwitch to your new Compuserve
email address.
These will be be in your “New Mail” folder in Compuserve which can be accessed by clicking on “Read Mail”. This will appear in yellow and say “You Have Mail” when you receive a new mail.

If you selected “Copy Address Book” (which is enabled by default in the “Express Switching” option), your address book with all your contacts and information (postal address, phone/fax/work numbers, personal information etc) will be in your Compuserve address book which can be accessed by clicking on the “Mail Center” option on the upper left-hand side of the page and then on “Address book” in the menu that appears.


If you selected “Copy Calendar Information” (which
is enabled by default in the “Express Switching” option), your migrated
calendar with all your events, appointments and reminders can be accessed by
clicking on the “My Favorites” option and then on “My Calendar” in the menu
that appears.


Your migrated favorites/bookmarks can be accessed by clicking on “My Favorites”.
