AOL Easy Transfer offers you a quick and easy way to switch to your new AOL account.  It automatically copies your personal data to your new AOL email account and notifies your friends with the new email address.  The two major functional components of AOL Easy Transfer are:

AOL Easy Transfer stores your User IDs for technical and customer support purposes. We will require your User ID and Password to copy your information to your new AOL account and if you do not have any support requests, we will delete your User ID and password.  You can change your password for your new Internet account at any time after you receive an email confirming that your switch has been successfully completed

AOL Easy Transfer will copy your email folders from your old account. The folder names may be modified to accommodate certain technical constraints but should still be recognizable to you.  Also due to technical constraints, your emails in those folders may be copied to your inbox instead of directly to the comparable folder in your new AOL email account.
